Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Retino-cortical disparity warping.
(Left) A horizontal constant disparity map dx(x, y) that describes the horizontal shift between the left and right image in Cartesian domain can be considered as a vector disparity δ(x, y) = (dx, 0), (i.e.

This work shows that the mechanical performance of multimaterial digital light processing (DLP) printed thermoset composites is governed by resin compatibility and interfacial design rather than spatial patterning alone. Brittle and ductile resin combinations produced premature interfacial failure, while graded interfaces and mechanically compatible ...

STEREO MATCHING ALGORITHM BASED ON ILLUMINATION CONTROL TO IMPROVE THE ACCURACY
This paper presents a new method of pixel based stereo matching algorithm using illumination control. The state of the art algorithm for absolute difference (AD) works fast, but only precise at low texture areas.

Nonlinear smoothing of stereo disparity maps
The raw disparity maps produced by area-based stereo algorithms are often noisy and blurred. A postprocessing stage can be applied to them in order to improve subsequent 3-D surface reconstruction. An algorithm using nonlinear directional filtering is described. It is applicable to the output of any area-based disparity technique.

Disparity map algorithm for stereo matching process using local based method [PDF]
The aim of Stereo Vision Disparity Map (SVDM) algorithm is to obtain the disparity map from two images. These input images have different viewpoints that corresponds with each other, forming a two-dimensional mapping of matching pixels and is known as ...

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.
