ABSTRACT There is limited integrated evaluation of nitrogen (N) and irrigation management strategies for improving maize yield and productivity using crop models. The effects of N and irrigation on maize yield and productivity under centre pivot (CPI) and subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) using the CERES‐Maize model were investigated. N treatments were (

This study comprehensively validates the analytical performance of the VITROS dry chemical colorimetric assay for plasma ammonia on the VITROS 350 system. The assay shows excellent precision, accuracy, and linearity throughout the analytical range. It is highly resistant to common interferents such as bilirubin, lipids, and vitamin K1.

Evaluation of Different Methods of Haemoglobin Estimation Among Malaria‐Infected Patients
This study compared haemoglobin concentrations measured with an automated Full Blood Count (Sysmex XN‐550) analyzer, the cyanmethemoglobin method, and a portable Hb meter (HemoCue Hb 301) in 100 patients with malaria. The three methods showed good agreement and broadly comparable measurements, though small systematic differences were observed.
