Report of the Committee on the Dyeing Properties of Disperse Dyes II– Disperse Dyes on Cellulose Triacetate

Four tests are prescribed for assessing the dyeing properties of disperse dyes on cellulose triacetate. The tests are to determine migration, temperature range properties, rate of dyeing, and build–up. They are designed to correspond with practical dyeing conditions and to permit individual dyes to be rated on an A–E scale.
