Combined spatially resolved metabolomics and spatial transcriptomics reveal the mechanism of RACK1‐mediated fatty acid synthesis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The authors analyzed the spatial distributions of gene and metabolite profiles in cervical cancer through spatial transcriptomic and spatially resolved metabolomic techniques. Pivotal genes and metabolites within these cases were then identified and validated.

Analysis of high-order dispersion on ultrabroadband microresonator-based frequency combs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We numerically investigate the influence of high-order dispersion on both temporal and spectral characterizations of microresonator-based optical frequency combs. The moment method is utilized to study the temporal dynamics of intracavity solitons.

Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) trajectories predict survival in trifluridine/tipiracil‐treated metastatic colorectal cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The authors applied joint/mixed models that predict mortality of trifluridine/tipiracil‐treated metastatic colorectal cancer patients based on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) trajectories. Patients at high risk of death could be spared aggressive therapy with the prospect of a higher quality of life in their remaining lifetime, whereas patients with a ...

Acoustics aspects of technological process in the rock disintegration [PDF]

open access: yesActa Montanistica Slovaca, 2007
The paper describes some results of monitoring and aspects of the acoustic signal in the rock disintegration on the drillig stand of the Institute of Geotechnics, SAS in Košice.

A note on averaging for the dispersion-managed NLS [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Differ. Equ. Appl. NoDEA (2024) 31:103
We discuss averaging for dispersion-managed nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations in the fast dispersion management regime, with an application to the problem of constructing soliton-like solutions to dispersion-managed nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations.

P-trac Procedure: The Dispersion and Neutralization of Contrasts in Lexicon [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
Cognitive acoustic cues have an important role in shaping the phonological structure of language as a means to optimal communication. In this paper we introduced P-trac procedure in order to track dispersion of contrasts in different contexts in lexicon. The results of applying P-trac procedure to the case of dispersion of contrasts in pre- consonantal

Integrative systems‐level analysis reveals a contextual crosstalk between hypoxia and global metabolism in human breast tumors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast tumor samples scored for metabolic deregulation (M1 to M3) were given a hypoxia score (HS). The highest HS occurred in patients with strongest metabolic deregulation (M3), supporting tumor aggressiveness. HS correlated with the highest number of metabolic pathways in M1. This suggests hypoxia to be an early event in metabolic deregulation.

Transport Property Estimation of Non-Uniform Porous Media [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2009
In this work a glass micromodel which its grains and pores are non-uniform in size, shape and distribution is considered as porous medium. A two-dimensional random network model of micromodel with non-uniform pores has been constructed.
