On Schrödinger equations with modified dispersion [PDF]
We consider the nonlinear Schrodinger equation with a modified spatial dispersion, given either by an homogeneous Fourier multiplier, or by a bounded Fourier multiplier. Arguments based on ordinary differential equations yield ill-posedness results which are sometimes sharp.

This study discusses the dispersion equation for SH waves in a non-homogeneous monoclinic layer over a semi-infinite isotropic medium. The wave velocity equation has been obtained. In the isotropic case, when the non-homogeneity is absent, the dispersion

Low-frequency scattering on a half-space filled with periodic fluid-solid medium with dipped layers
A low-frequency effective model has been developed for a medium with periodical liquid and solid layers with the slip between layers. It is shown that for an effective periodically n-layered medium with solid dipped layers with slip there exist n+1 ...

Passage of electromagnetic wave through a rectangular wave guide with an active rectangular film
The proposed work examines the passage of the electromagnetic wave through a rectangular wave guide with active film and magnetized ferritic layers. Ferrimagnetic layers are located between metal planes with perfect conductivity. Adispersion equation has

Shallow Water Waves and Conservation Laws with Dispersion Triplet
This paper secures solitary waves and conservation laws to the familiar Korteweg–de Vries equation and Gardner’s equation with three dispersion sources. The traveling wave hypothesis leads to the emergence of such waves.

On the Spectra of One-Dimensional Schrödinger Operators With Singular Potentials
The paper is devoted to the spectral properties of one-dimensional Schrödinger operators (1)Squ(x)=(-d2dx2+q(x))u(x), x∈ℝ, with potentials q = q0+qs, where q0∈L∞(ℝ) is a regular potential, and qs∈D′(ℝ) is a singular potential with support on a ...

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...
