CARATTERIZZAZIONE DI CANALE RADIOMOBILE IN AMBIENTE URBANO MEDIANTE UN SIMULATORE DI PROPAGAZIONE DETERMINISTICO [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Per la progettazione di sistemi radiomobili è necessario caratterizzare il canale in termini di attenuazione, dispersione temporale, dispersione angolare.

Trait‐mediated effects driven by an invasive herbivore alter functionally diverse plant–frugivore interactions

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, Volume 40, Issue 1, Page 216-228, January 2026.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Fruit traits play a fundamental role in mediating plant‐frugivore interactions, shaping seed dispersal dynamics. Given the complexity of multi‐species interactions, these traits and, consequently, plant‐frugivore interactions can be indirectly influenced by third‐party ...

Species functional traits affect regional and local dominance across western Amazonian forests

open access: yesJournal of Ecology, Volume 114, Issue 1, January 2026.
Dominant tree species in western Amazonian forests show distinct functional trait combinations linked to habitat type: conservative traits in stressful habitats and greater plant size in less stressful environments. Local dominants are defined by resource conservation strategies and widespread dominants are defined by resource acquisition strategies. A

Habitat Selection and Seed Dispersal by the Great Blue Turaco (Corythaeola cristata) in the Rainforests of Southern Cameroon

open access: yesBiotropica, Volume 58, Issue 1, January 2026.
This study is the first to use telemetry to document the movements of the great blue turaco, a bird that plays an important role in seed dispersal throughout Africa's Congo Basin. We show how 3D vegetation structure influences the movements of four turacos and the resulting spatial patterns of seed dispersal.

EFFETTO DI TIPOLOGIA E FUNZIONALIZZAZIONE DI NANOTUBI DI CARBONIO SULLE PROPRIETA’ DI FIBRE A MATRICE POLIAMMIDICA [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012

Forest Guardians: The Role of Dense Forests and Water Networks in Supporting Lowland Tapir (Tapirus terrestris) Populations in the Orinoquia Region of Colombia

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 12, December 2025.
Our study reveals that lowland tapir (Tapirus terrestris ) occupancy in Colombia's Orinoquia region is strongly influenced by dense forests and proximity to water bodies, while anthropogenic factors such as pastures and road networks negatively impact their presence.

Downconversion Master Slave OCT With a Bidirectional Sweeping Laser

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, Volume 18, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT This paper explores the challenges of signal processing when using optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging instruments driven by asymmetric MHz bidirectional sweeping lasers. A downconversion master–slave (DMS) method is proposed as a viable alternative to the traditional OCT protocol.
