Review on dissimilar structures joints failure

Engineering Failure Analysis, 2021
Abstract Fuel economy has become, more than ever, one of the central keys around which the industrial development of transportation means (mainly aeronautics and aerospace) orbits around. In order to improve fuel consumption efficiency, lightweight and multipurpose dissimilar structures are pushing the boundaries of innovation through generative ...

The Strength of Dissimilar Fractal Joints

Volume 9: Mechanics of Solids, Structures and Fluids; NDE, Diagnosis, and Prognosis, 2016
In this investigation, the influences of fractal geometry and material properties on the strength of dissimilar joints were studied. The fractal geometry explored was an iterative Koch curve. The interfacial layer joining two different materials was designed to be a Koch layer with three different numbers of iteration.

A Stochastic Joint Replenishment Problem with Dissimilar Items

Decision Sciences, 2019
ABSTRACTThe classical stochastic joint replenishment problem (SJRP) often assumes uncapacitated batch size, and identical items. However, real problems encountered relate to the truck , or the container which has limited capacity. When the shipping capacity is limited, and the items are dissimilar in size, the problem becomes more challenging.

Joint Work of Dissimilar Electrohydraulic Actuators

2020
This article presents the results of the study of joint work of electro-hydraulic actuator with combined speed control of the output link and electro-hydraulic servovalve actuator, obtained using the method of mathematical modeling. It is shown that at joint work of the above mentioned heterogeneous electro-hydraulic actuators in a mode of summation of

Welding joints in dissimilar metals

Welding International, 2011
Dissimilar metal and alloy weldability determination is based on the estimation of their bases interaction, at the same time the effect of the primary alloying element is also taken into consideration if possible. Qualitative joint production and prevention of intermetallic formation is determined to a large extent by the dissolution and following ...
