ABSTRACT The multifunctional integration of chips with high flexibility and scalable manufacturing is crucial for enhancing chip performance, reducing chip size, and simplifying chip design. However, balancing volume, cost, flexibility, and functionality using traditional heterogeneous integration methods is challenging.

We propose a set of axioms for the measurement of school-based segregation with any number of ethnic groups. These axioms are motivated by two criteria. The first is evenness: how much do ethnic groups’ distributions across schools differ?

SMarT‐Diff introduces a multi‐objective generative paradigm that integrates scaffold hopping with structure‐aware scoring to enable controlled exploration beyond the training distribution. The framework consistently balances drug‐likeness, synthesizes accessibility and bioactivity, yielding chemically diverse candidates with enhanced properties.

A dissimilarity index of multidimensional inequality of opportunity (revised and updated) [PDF]
A recent literature on inequality of opportunity offers quantitative tools for comparisons and measurement based on stochastic dominance criteria and traditional inequality indices. In this paper I suggest an additional way of assessing inequality of opportunity with two indices of dissimilarity across distributions.

Mixing‐Driven Defects and Composition Evolution in Multi‐Material Metal Additive Manufacturing
Operando synchrotron X‐ray imaging coupled with high‐fidelity multiphysics modeling uncovers how inter‐material mixing reshapes keyhole dynamics and drives distinct pore‐formation pathways in multi‐material laser powder bed fusion (LPBF). Composition‐dependent instabilities trigger defects, whereas rescanning suppresses porosity and homogenizes Cu ...

THE SPATIAL DIMENSION OF SEGREGATION - A CASE STUDY IN FOUR FRENCH URBAN AREAS, 1990-1999 * [PDF]
Over the post-war period, urban growth has exhibited complex spatial patterns including both population spread and employment suburbanization from the central city towards the suburbs, both in US and European metropolitan areas.
