The Orbital-Resolved Dissociative Ionization of the Molecular IBr in a Near-Infrared Femtosecond Laser Field

open access: yesPhotonics
The dissociative ionization of molecular IBr in a near-infrared femtosecond laser field was investigated through the utilization of the DC-sliced ion imaging technique.

Partial Ionization Cross Sections of Tungsten Hexafluoride Due to Electron Impact

open access: yesAtoms, 2022
The ionization data of a neutral molecule are crucial to model the energy deposition and dissociative ionization process. We study theoretically the electron impact ionization process and report on the dissociative ionization cross sections of the ...

The dissociative ionization in oxygen [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mass Spectrometry and Ion Physics, 1974
Abstract Dissociative ionization in O 2 has been examined by means of a retarding potential lens combined with a quadrupole mass spectrometer. This particular arrangement made possible detailed analysis of the O + ions kinetic energy distribution and the measurement of threshold energies of O + ions with known kinetic energy.

The dissociative ionization of nitrogen [PDF]

open access: yesChemical Physics, 1975
Energy distributions and appearance potentials of N ions produced by low-energy electron impact on N2 have been measured. At least five dissociation limits were detected either directly in the ionization efficiency curves of N or by extrapolation of the 1/2 slope straight lines drawn through the kinetic energy versus appearance potential energy diagram.

Total, direct and dissociative electron impact ionization cross sections of the acetylene molecule [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2000
The total electron impact ionization cross sections of the acetylene molecule have been measured in the incident electron energy range from threshold to 1000 eV.

Asymmetric Dissociative Tunneling Ionization of Tetrafluoromethane in ω − 2ω Intense Laser Fields

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2022
Dissociative ionization of tetrafluoromethane (CF4) in linearly polarized ω-2ω ultrashort intense laser fields (1.4 × 1014 W/cm2, 800 and 400 nm) has been investigated by three-dimensional momentum ion imaging.

Correlated variational treatment of ionization coupled to nuclear motion: Ultrafast pump and ionizing probe of electronic and nuclear dynamics in LiH

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2021
We demonstrate a theoretical treatment of dissociative single ionization of the LiH molecule using two-color UV-UV pulse sequences that makes use of a highly correlated description of both the ionization continuum and target molecular ion and neutral ...

Rate coefficients for electron-impact dissociation of O3+ to singly charged fragments [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2022
Rate coefficients for electron-impact dissociation of O3 + to the O+ and O2 + fragments are calculated for the new, recommended cross section data set and for various collisional conditions.

Investigation of dissociative photoionization pathways for orientation-selected molecules by phase-controlled laser fields

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
Intense (5.0 × 1012 W/cm2) nanosecond phase-controlled laser fields consisting of fundamental and second-harmonic light induce orientation-selective molecular tunneling ionization in a randomly orientated molecular ensemble in a gas phase.

Dissociation of N2 by electron impact in electric and magnetic RF fields [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2023
Rate coefficients for electron impact dissociation of the N2 molecule under the influence of crossed radio-frequency (RF) electric and magnetic fields were calculated for field frequencies of 13.56, 100 and 200 MHz and for root mean square values of the ...
