Does cohabitation prior to marriage raise the risk of marital dissolution and does this effect vary geographically? [PDF]
A number of studies show that premarital cohabitation increases the risk of subsequent marital dissolution. Some argue that this is a consequence of selection effects and that once these are controlled for premarital cohabitation has no effect on ...

An Examination of Subsidence in North-East England due to the Dissolution of Sub-Surface Gypsum using the Shallow Seismic Reflection Technique [PDF]
Along a narrow swath from Nottingham through to Hartlepool, broad shallow depressions up to 100m in diameter and, more rarely, scarp-edged subsidence hollows are observed.

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Statistical Properties of the Dissolution Test of USP [PDF]
The dissolution test as defined in the United States Phar-macopoeia (1) is used in judging the quality of pharma-ceutical products. Dissolution testing is a method for evaluating physiological availability that depends upon having the drug in a dissolved

[Importance of dissolution profile in stability tests].
The aim of stability testing lies in its possibility of revealing all the effects that may influence the quality, efficacy and safety of a pharmaceutical preparation. The stability of a dosage form means that the release of the active ingredients remains unchanged or within specific limits.
