Foliar application of kaolin and zeolites to adapt the adverse effects of climate change in Vitis vinifera L. cv. Sangiovese [PDF]
One of the first effects of climate change in wine-growing areas is the advancement of phenological stages, especially concerning early berry ripening.

DISTAL AND NON-DISTAL PAIRS [PDF]
AbstractThe aim of this note is to determine whether certain non-o-minimal expansions of o-minimal theories which are known to be NIP, are also distal. We observe that while tame pairs of o-minimal structures and the real field with a discrete multiplicative subgroup have distal theories, dense pairs of o-minimal structures and related examples do not.

The establishment and maintenance of a balanced gut microbiota in early life play a pivotal role in pigs. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the administration of a single early-life probiotic on piglet faecal microbiota and growth performance ...

The aim of this study was to test the effect of mixing doses of glutamate (Glu) and glutamine (Gln) on the growth, health and gut health of post-weaning piglets. One hundred twenty weaned piglets (24 ± 2 days of age) were assigned to 6 dietary groups: (1)

Weaning differentially affects the maturation of piglet peripheral blood and jejunal Peyer’s patches
The study aimed to assess how the post-weaning condition changes piglet peripheral blood (PB) and jejunal Peyer’s patches (JPPs) as compared to the suckling period, and how these changes are associated with intestinal microbiota evolution.

AbstractBuilding on Pierre Simon’s notion of distality, we introduce distality rank as a property of first-order theories and give examples for each rankmsuch that$1\leq m \leq \omega $. For NIP theories, we show that distality rank is invariant under base change.

In this article, distal myopathy syndromes are discussed. A discussion of the more traditional distal myopathies is followed by discussion of the myofibrillar myopathies. Other clinically and genetically distinctive distal myopathy syndromes usually based on single or smaller family cohorts are reviewed. Other neuromuscular disorders that are important
