Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...

On the distance α-spectral radius of a connected graph
For a connected graph G and α ∈ [ 0 , 1 ) $\alpha \in [0,1)$ , the distance α-spectral radius of G is the spectral radius of the matrix D α ( G ) $D_{\alpha }(G)$ defined as D α ( G ) = α T ( G ) + ( 1 − α ) D ( G ) $D_{\alpha }(G)=\alpha T(G)+(1-\alpha )

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

ON \(G\)-VERTEX-TRANSITIVE COVERS OF COMPLETE GRAPHS HAVING AT MOST TWO \(G\)-ORBITS ON THE ARC SET
We investigate abelian (in the sense of Godsil and Hensel) distance-regular covers of complete graphs with the following property: there is a vertex-transitive group of automorphisms of the cover which possesses at most two orbits in the induced action ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

On the spectra of reduced distance matrix of dendrimers [PDF]
Let G be a simple connected graph and {v_1,v_2,... , v_k} be the set of pendent (vertices of degree one) vertices of G. The reduced distance matrix of G is an square matrix whose (i,j)-entry is the topological distance between v_i and v_j of G.

Gutman Index and Detour Gutman Index of Pseudo-Regular Graphs
The Gutman index of a connected graph G is defined as Gut(G)=∑u≠vd(u)d(v)d(u,v), where d(u) and d(v) are the degree of the vertices u and v and d(u,v) is the distance between vertices u and v.
