Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Robust CNN Compression Framework for Security-Sensitive Embedded Systems
Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have achieved tremendous success in solving complex classification problems. Motivated by this success, there have been proposed various compression methods for downsizing the CNNs to deploy them on resource ...

Dynamic models for start-up operations of batch distillation columns with experimental validation [PDF]
The simulation of batch distillation columns during start-up operations is a very challenging modelling problem because of the complex dynamic behaviour. Only few rigorous models for distillation columns start-up are available in literature and generally

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Local Gaussian operations can enhance continuous-variable entanglement distillation
Entanglement distillation is a fundamental building block in long-distance quantum communication. Though known to be useless on their own for distilling Gaussian entangled states, local Gaussian operations may still help to improve non-Gaussian ...

Distillation protocols: Output entanglement and local mutual information [PDF]
A complementary behavior between local mutual information and average output entanglement is derived for arbitrary bipartite ensembles. This leads to bounds on the yield of entanglement in distillation protocols that involve disinguishing.

Enhancing yeast alcohol production during red sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) wort fermentation
The fermentation of sorghum wort is one of the fundamental steps that determine the quality of this beer. It is influenced by several parameters, among others: temperature, pH, sugar content, amino acid profile, phenolic compound content, and redox ...

Homomolecular and Isotopic Exchange Reactions by Catalyst
It is widely used in the light-isotopes enrichment by distillation, such as H2, O2, N2, CO, etc. It can not get high abundance of isotopes in the late stage of enrichment for these two-atom include two isotopes, and it needs to add a reaction conversion ...
