MTBE Decomposition in a Reactive Distillation Column
Chemical Engineering Research and Design, 2004MTBE decomposition in reactive distillation columns is investigated based on numerical simulations. Special emphasis is on the undesired side reactions. Quasi-homogeneous as well as heterogeneous column models are applied for a packed column. In the latter, the multi-component intra-particle mass transport phenomena are accounted for.

Robust algorithm for control of distillation column
2017 4th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT), 2017The paper describes the robust algorithm for distillation column under parametric uncertainties of column parameters and external disturbances in feed. The proposed control system uses the auxiliary loop algorithm which allows us to get effective controller. The proposed algorithm guarantees the compensation of perturbations with the required accuracy.
