Admissibilization for DJSs with distributed delay and discrete state delay
2020 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE), 2020This work deals with admissibilization for degenerate jump systems (DJSs) with distributed delay and discrete state delay. Firstly, admissibility is analysed for the DJSs based on singular value decomposition (SVD) technique and Lyapunov stability theory.

Distributed Delay Tolerant Protocol
2018 15th International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems (ISWCS), 2018A cubesat is a very small, low cost, artificial satellite designed for space research purposes, very popular in the academic community. The ISTsat-1 is the first cubesat being developed in Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST)[1], with a IU size (103 cm cube).

Probabilistic delay guarantees using delay distribution measurement
Proceedings of the 12th annual ACM international conference on Multimedia, 2004Carriers increasingly differentiate their wide-area connectivity offerings by means of customized services, such as virtual private networks (VPN) with Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees, or QVPNs. The key challenge faced by carriers is to maximize the number of QVPNs admitted by exploiting the statistical multiplexing nature of input traffic.

Delay-Derivative-Dependent Stability for Delayed Neural Networks With Unbound Distributed Delay
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, 2010In this brief, based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and appropriate integral inequality, a new sufficient condition is derived to guarantee the global stability for delayed neural networks with unbounded distributed delay, in which the improved delay-partitioning technique and general convex combination are employed. The LMI-based criterion

Time delay distribution in Bragg gratings
Physical Review E, 2002A layer-by-layer analysis of the time delay of both reflected and transmitted light in one-dimensional photonic band-gap structures is developed and applied to uniform Bragg gratings. An effective Fabry-Pérot cavity is associated with every layer along the Bragg grating, multiple paths with a well defined layer traversal time are identified, and the ...

Attrition in Distributed Delay Models
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1977Distributed time delay models are extended to deal with loss of entities from within the process being modeled. Analysis of a time-invariant distributed delay shows that the statistics of individual transit times through a delay process can be very sensitive to attrition incurred during the delay.

Modeling flight departure delay distributions
2014 International Conference on Computer, Control, Informatics and Its Applications (IC3INA), 2014In this paper, we construct a probability distribution for flight departure delay durations. The probability distribution is developed by fitting historical departure delay data of an airline to a number of probability distributions. Then, we choose the most fitted model by applying two-stage Genetic Algorithm.

Delay Analysis of the Distributed RC Line
32nd Design Automation Conference, 1995This paper reviews the step-response of the semi-infinite distributed RC line and focuses mainly on the step-response of a finite-length RC line with a capacitive load termination, which is the most common model for a wire inside the present day integrated CMOS chips. In particular, we obtain the values of some of the common threshold-crossing times at
