Distributed Information Fusion Structure Based on Data Fusion Tree

Advanced Materials Research, 2011
A distributed information fusion structure based on data fusion tree is built to realize precise localization and efficient navigation for the mobile robot. The multi-class, multi-level information from robot and environment is fused using different algorithms in different levels, and make the robot have a deeper understanding to the whole environment.

Distributed Bayesian hypothesis testing with distributed data fusion

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1988
Summary: The paper considers the problem of distributed Bayesian hypothesis testing with distributed data fusion. In the distributed data fusion configuration, some signal processing is done locally at the sensors and the partial results are transmitted to the other sensors for further processing and fusion.

Distributed Detection Theory and Data Fusion

1994
Abstract : Design of distributed order statistic constant false alarm rate (OS-CFAR) detection systems with data fusion was investigated. Its performance for different fusion rules and for a variety of nonhomogeneous backgrounds such as clutter edges and interfering targets was analyzed.

Theories in Distributed Decision Fusion

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1991
Abstract Some fundamental results related to binary and multi-level decision logic distributed decision (evidence) fusion (DD(E)F) are presented. New asymptotic performance results for binary and multi-level Neyman-Pearson (N-P) DD Farederived. Acomparative resultbetween N-P DDF and Dempster-Shafer DEF in the framework of the Generalized Evidence ...

Distributed Algorithms for Sensor Fusion

2002
Abstract : The goal of this project was to develop algorithms which will process the information collected by networks of large numbers of low power, low bandwidth sensors. We have analyzed failure modes for simple cases of hierarchical networks, developed foundational results in logic programming and hybrid control, and constructed a simulation ...

DAFNE – A Distributed and Adaptive Fusion Engine

2011
An architecture for a distributed and adaptive multi-sensor fusion engine is described. The engine is developed to improve the protection of European armed forces against the threats troops are facing in urban environments. In particular, the engine needs to be scalable, flexible to quickly adjust to different missions and mission goals, easily ...
