Reliable Distributed Integrated Navigation Based on CI during Mars Entry

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2019
A reliable distributed covariance intersection (CI) fusion integrated navigation algorithm with information feedback during the Mars atmospheric entry is proposed to meet robust, reliable, and high-precision Mars atmospheric entry navigation strategy.

Distributed Hybrid Two-Stage Multi-Sensor Fusion for Cooperative Modulation Classification in Large-Scale Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Recent studies showed that the performance of the modulation classification (MC) is considerably improved by using multiple sensors deployed in a cooperative manner.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Cluster‐based distributed cooperative spectrum sensing over Nakagami fading using diversity reception

open access: yesIET Networks, 2019
Cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) can solve the problem of hidden terminal in cognitive radio (CR). CSS can be employed in two ways distributed and centralised.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Decision fusion for composite hypothesis testing in wireless sensor networks over a shared and noisy collision channel

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2020
We consider the composite hypothesis testing problem of time-bandwidth-constrained distributed detection. In this scenario, the probability distribution of the observed signal when the event of interest is happening is unknown.

Evolving Large-Scale Data Stream Analytics based on Scalable PANFIS

open access: yes, 2018
Many distributed machine learning frameworks have recently been built to speed up the large-scale data learning process. However, most distributed machine learning used in these frameworks still uses an offline algorithm model which cannot cope with the ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
