An improved hybrid approach for the simultaneous allocation of distributed generators and time varying loads in distribution systems

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2023
Distributed Generation (DG) studies are generally conducted considering a single type of DG units integrated with the Distribution System (DS). However, these studies may not evaluate optimum benefits offered by the DG integration.

FGFR Like1 drives esophageal cancer progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and notch signalling: insights from clinical data and next‐generation sequencing analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

Development of a Transmission and Distribution Integrated Monitoring and Analysis System for High Distributed Generation Penetration

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
To date, power system analysis has been performed separately for transmission and distribution systems. Due to the small influence of distribution systems on transmission systems, separate analyses have had no accuracy problems in existing power systems.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Transmission network congestion control by DESS through interval computation and capacity optimization via hybrid DE‐PSO technique

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2023
Transmission congestion is one of major drawbacks of deregulated power system. Congestion gradually violates the physical, operational and policy constraints of the present electricity market.

Transition from Islanded to grid-connected mode of microgrids with voltage-based droop control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Microgrids are able to provide a coordinated integration of the increasing share of distributed generation (DG) units in the network. The primary control of the DG units is generally performed by droop-based control algorithms that avoid communication ...

Tracking Motor Progression and Device‐Aided Therapy Eligibility in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To characterise the progression of motor symptoms and identify eligibility for device‐aided therapies in Parkinson's disease, using both the 5‐2‐1 criteria and a refined clinical definition, while examining differences across genetic subgroups.
