Identification of Degenerate Distributed Parameter Systems

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1989
Abstract An abstract approximation theory for the identification of linear degenerate distributed parameter systems is developed. Central to the approach is an abstract approximation result for regular and degenerate implicit distributed systems in the spirit of the Trotter-Kato Theorem for the approximation of linear semigroups.

Parallel Control of Distributed Parameter Systems

IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2018
In this paper, we study the control problems of distributed parameter systems, and discuss the limitations of traditional control methods. In recent years, social factors have gradually become an essential parameter of system modeling. For complex distributed parameter systems, the accurate modeling becomes difficult.

Systems with distributed parameters

1987
In applied sciences, by systems with distributed parameters we mean systems described by partial differential equations. The heat diffusion equation (7.0.1) or the wave equation (7.0.2) are examples of such systems.

DESIGN OF DISTRIBUTED PARAMETER SYSTEMS OF CONTROL

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1994
Distributed parameter systems in engineering practice can be very often interpreted as lumped input and distributed output systems. Lumped input and distributed output systems theory results offer practically the same possibilities for distributed parameter systems control as lumped parameter systems control theory for lumped parameter systems. Stability of Nonlinear Distributed Parameter Systems

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1977
Abstract The stability problem for the equation ẋ = Ax + Bx, where A generates a semigroup T(t) and B is a nonlinear operator, is studied by using the Lyapunov functional V ( x ) = 〈 ∫ 0 ∞ T * ( t ) QT ( t ) xdt , x 〉 for some positive selfadjoint operator Q.

On the exact observability of distributed parameter systems

2007 46th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007
This contribution is devoted to the observability analysis of distributed parameter systems derived on the basis of the calculus of variations. A system theoretical analysis is motivated by the utilization of a differential geometric framework, which allows a covariant description of infinite dimensional systems.

Compensator Design for Distributed Parameter Systems

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract Stabilization of linear finite dimensional systems is an important design problem in systems control theory and continues to receive much atten tion in the literature. The problem of stabilization of infinite dimensional linear systems is a much harder problem and the results are less complete.
