Distributed Sensory System of Surface Cracks Monitoring Based on Electrical Impedance Tomography [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics, 2018
In this paper, we propose a method of distributed sensory systems designing for monitoring of surface cracks in highly loaded constructions based on electrical impedance tomography. A thin conductive film with contacts on the perimeter applied on the monitored surface is used as a crack sensor.

Determination of Magnetic Structures in Magnetic Microwires with Longitudinally Distributed Magnetic Anisotropy

open access: yesSensors, 2023
We studied the magnetic properties of a glass-covered amorphous microwire that was stress-annealed at temperatures distributed along the microwire length. The Sixtus-Tonks, Kerr effect microscopy and magnetic impedance techniques have been applied. There

CPE analysis by local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Constant-phase elements (CPE) are used extensively in equivalent electrical circuits for fitting of experimental impedance data. The CPE behavior is generally attributed to distributed surface reactivity, surface inhomogeneity, roughness or fractal ...

Surface microstructural design to improve mechanical and giant magneto-impedance properties of melt-extracted CoFe-based amorphous wires

open access: yesMaterials & Design, 2021
The influence of surface microstructural regulation mechanisms on the mechanical and giant magneto-impedance (GMI) properties of as-cast melt-extracted CoFe-based wires has been systematically researched based on morphology, phase distribution and domain

Scattering of a plane wave by spheres with nonuniform surface impedance distribution [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1974
A general mathematical solution of this problem involving the solution of an infinite set of equations in infinitely many unknowns by a truncated approximation was developed for computing sound pressure distributions in the near- and far-field regions around a sphere with an arbitrary, nonuniform surface impedance distribution in the presence of a ...

Bayesian inversion for Electrical Impedance Tomography by sparse interpolation [PDF]

open access: yesInverse Problems and Imaging, 2023
We study the Electrical Impedance Tomography Bayesian inverse problem for recovering the conductivity given noisy measurements of the voltage on some boundary surface electrodes.

Effect of Mixing Time on Properties of Whole Wheat Flour-Based Cookie Doughs and Cookies

open access: yesFoods, 2023
This study investigated if whole wheat flour-based cookie dough’s physical properties were affected by mixing time (1 to 10 min). The cookie dough quality was assessed using texture (spreadability and stress relaxation), moisture content, and impedance ...

ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SCATTERING BY A SYSTEM OF VIBRATORS HAVING VARIABLE IMPEDANCE IN A RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE

open access: yesRadio Physics and Radio Astronomy, 2015
A problem of electromagnetic wave excitation by finite-dimensional material bodies located in an arbitrary electrodynamic volume was formulated. The problem was reduced to solution of two-dimensional integral equations for electrical surface currents on ...
