Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

STRATEGY OF DISTRIBUTION IN FOOD INDUSTRY COMPANIES [PDF]
The essence of distribution is thus reduced to harmonization of demandand supply. Such an adjustment is only possible through amassing and providingcustomers with products of a particular structure and specific usage properties.Levelling the differences ...

The model of the linear city under a triangular distribution of consumers: an empirical analysis on price and location of beverage kiosks in Catania [PDF]
This paper presents a model of oligopolistic competition under horizontal differentiation of products and a triangular distribution of consumers. The triangular distribution aims to represent a case of concentration of consumers around the central ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

The author makes the case that cause of innovation to battle commoditization is far too often lost even before it starts. The dysfunctional distribution system has been turned on its head as distributors have wrested control of the strategic prerogatives

Sales on organic farms in Poland [PDF]
This paper gives information on sales of organic products at a farm level in Poland. It presents the results of the investigation conducted in 188 organic farms in 2006. The results show that the most significant distribution form is direct sales, both

Scalar products of elementary distributions [PDF]
The Schrödinger equation with point interaction in one dimension is revisited in a simple framework where the “singular” potential is defined as a symmetric operator in a natural way. The main tool is a scalar product of the elementary distributions constructed after a commutative (and well-ordered) field extension of R followed by complexification.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
