Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Embedding Consumer Taste for Location into a Structural Model of Equilibrium [PDF]
Given that brands (products) are location specific in terms of coverage of retail stores, we allow consumers to have preferences over location and products to carry distribution costs, alongside preferences and costs over other observable and ...

The distribution of evaporitic weathering products on Antarctic meteorites [PDF]
White evaporite deposits of terrestrial origin occur on some 5 percent of Antarctic meteorites. The few previous studies, and new mineralogical analyses, indicate that the deposits are predominately carbonates and/or sulfates of magnesium.

ON MIKUSINSKI TYPE PRODUCTS OF DISTRIBUTIONS
Summary: The well known result of Jan Mikisiński on distributed products: \(x^{-1},x^{-1}- \pi^2\delta^2(x)= x^{-2}\), \(x\in\mathbb{R}\), is generalized here for the distributions \(x^{-p}\) and \(\delta^{(p-1)}(x)\) for arbitrary natural \(p\). To this aim we follow the method of Mikusiński of employing a `Fourier-product' formula, which is done in ...

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Product of Boundary Distributions
1) We identify new parameter branches for the ultra-local boundary Poisson bracket in d spatial dimension with a (d-1)-dimensional spatial boundary. There exist 2^{r(r-1)/2} r-dimensional parameter branches for each d-box, r-row Young tableau. The already known branch (hep-th/9912017) corresponds to a vertical 1-column, d-box Young tableau.

Distributive Lattices and Products of Capacities
It is shown that any normalized capacity on a finite set can be considered as the geometrical realization of a distributive lattice. Then the product of capacities is defined.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...
