Method for identifying high-resistance grounding fault section in single-neutral-point low-resistance grounding active distribution networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
The paper focuses on single-neutral-point low-resistance grounding (SNP-LRG) active distribution networks (ADNs) where the distribution system adopts the low-resistance grounding mode, and distributed generation (DG) grid-connected transformers adopt the

Shuttle: Reaction control system. Cryogenic liquid distribution system: Study [PDF]

open access: yes
A cryogenic liquid distribution system suitable for the reaction control system on space shuttles is described. The system thermodynamics, operation, performance and weight analysis are discussed along with the design, maintenance and integration ...

Ultra stable frequency distribution system [PDF]

open access: yes, 1977
A system is presented for synchronizing a signal at a remotely located slave station with the phase and frequency of a signal generated at a master station.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

The Distribution of the first Eigenvalue Spacing at the Hard Edge of the Laguerre Unitary Ensemble

open access: yes, 2007
The distribution function for the first eigenvalue spacing in the Laguerre unitary ensemble of finite rank random matrices is found in terms of a Painlev\'e V system, and the solution of its associated linear isomonodromic system.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Distribution system simulator [PDF]

open access: yes
In a series of tests performed under the Department of Energy auspices, power line carrier propagation was observed to be anomalous under certain circumstances. To investigate the cause, a distribution system simulator was constructed.

System for measuring spatial distribution of ejected droplets, a concept [PDF]

open access: yes, 1968
System measures the spatial distribution of high-velocity droplets ejected from a nozzle or spray gun. The system employs an electrically resistive grid as the sensing screen, electrical leads, and a signal scanner such as a cathode ray ...

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Stabilizing buried interface by bilateral bond strength equilibrium strategy toward efficient perovskite photovoltaics

open access: yesNature Communications
The NiOx/perovskite interface in p-i-n inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs) suffers from trap-assisted nonradiative recombination, chemical reactions and weak adhesion.
