Planning in a Distributed System
2005We identify a type of distributed system where the notion of space in planning is important. We give a formal modeling of the distributed system where planning is done. We show that several interesting planning goals in the model can be specified in a spatio-temporal logic STL.

The regional distribution problem for a perishable product is examined, under the important assumption that younger units are issued first (LIFO) to satisfy the demands of the customers at the locations.
