Low‐loss image‐based compression for synchrophasor measurements
Deployments of high‐sampling rate synchronised phasor measurement units (PMUs) are growing rapidly throughout the world, and with the advent of microPMUs, spreading from bulk transmission through distribution systems.

Conformance of Distributed Systems [PDF]
This paper introduces a new conformance relation between a specification and an implementation of a distributed system. It is based on a local view which allows to avoid or reduce the state explosion problem. The conformance relation is defined via Petri nets and shows not only equivalence between transitions but also equivalence between local states ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Water distribution expansion planning with decomposition
In recent years, the water distribution expansion planning (WDEP) problem has become increasingly complex as the demands on water distribution systems have evolved to meet modern requirements.

Multi Agent Systems for the Active Management of Electrical Distribution Networks [PDF]
This Thesis presents an investigation on the technical impacts caused by the steady state operation of Small-Scale Embedded Generators (SSEGs) and also introduces the Small Scale Energy Zone (SSEZ) concept which aims to remove the technical barriers ...

Visual analyzer for power distribution systems
The calculation related with power distribution systems is traditionally supported by approximations due to the difficulty of obtaining reliable data and the simplifications that are made.

Fully distributed AC power flow (ACPF) algorithm for distribution systems
Power flow is one of the basic tools for system operation and control. Due to its nature, which determines the complex nodal voltages, line flows, currents and losses, it enforces a large computation load on a power system.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Technical losses assessment in distribution systems with reduced measurement capabilities
In the recent years, the electricity Regulators want to reduce the energy cost and to raise the energy efficiency by curtailing the energy losses, particularly in the MV and LV distribution networks.
