Azumaya Monads and Comonads

open access: yesAxioms, 2015
The definition of Azumaya algebras over commutative rings \(R\) requires the tensor product of modules over \(R\) and the twist map for the tensor product of any two \(R\)-modules.

$\aleph_0$-distributive modules and rings

open access: yes, 2022
Let $A$ be a ring with minimum condition on principal right ideals. It is proved that $\aleph_0$-distributive right (left) $A$-modules coincide with Artinian (Noetherian) right (left) $A$-modules. Rings, over which all right modules are direct sums of $\aleph_0$-distributive coincide with rings of of finite representation type.

SOME PROPERTIES OF ®-g-SUPPLEMENTED MODULES

open access: yes, 2023
In this work (R) - g-supplemented modules are defined and some properties of these modules are investigated. It is proved that the finite direct sum of (R) - g-supplemented modules is also (R) - g-supplemented.

Pyrin Modulates the Intracellular Distribution of PSTPIP1

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2009
PSTPIP1 is a cytoskeleton-associated adaptor protein that links PEST-type phosphatases to their substrates. Mutations in PSTPIP1 cause PAPA syndrome (Pyogenic sterile Arthritis, Pyoderma gangrenosum, and Acne), an autoinflammatory disease. PSTPIP1 binds to pyrin and mutations in pyrin result in familial Mediterranean fever (FMF), a related ...

Classification of multiplication modules over multiplication rings with finitely many minimal primes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
A classification of multiplication modules over multiplication rings with finitely many minimal primes is obtained. A characterisation of multiplication rings with finitely many minimal primes is given via faithful, Noetherian, distributive modules.

On finitely generated multiplication modules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
summary:We shall prove that if $M$ is a finitely generated multiplication module and $\mathop {\mathrm Ann}(M)$ is a finitely generated ideal of $R$, then there exists a distributive lattice $\bar{M}$ such that $\mathop {\mathrm Spec}(M)$ with Zariski ...

Motor resonance is modulated by an object's weight distribution [PDF]

open access: yesNeuropsychologia, 2020
Abstract Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) studies showed that corticospinal excitability (CSE) is modulated during observation of object lifting, an effect termed ‘motor resonance’. Specifically, motor resonance is driven by movement features indicating object weight, such as object size or observed movement kinematics.

Module size distribution and defect density [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings 11th International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering. ISSRE 2000, 2002
Data from several projects show a significant relationship between the size of a module and its defect density. We address implications of this observation. Does the overall defect density of a software project vary with its module size distribution?
