Compensation of Mismatched Disturbances in Nonlinear Systems

2020 28th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation (MED), 2020
The paper deals with the problem of state feedback control with compensation of mismatched unknown disturbances in nonlinear systems. The proposed control law is based on two control methods: backstepping method and auxiliary loop method. The backstepping method allows control under mismatched disturbances with guarantying the input-to-state stability.

Disturbance compensation in digital sliding mode

2011 IEEE EUROCON - International Conference on Computer as a Tool, 2011
This paper proposes a new approach for slow and matched disturbance suppression in digital sliding mode. The previous value of disturbance is extracted from switching function and used to make disturbance estimation, and later used in control to cancel disturbance effects. The control function is linear in state and in disturbance estimate.

On a Method of Compensation against Parametric Disturbances

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1965
This paper deals with the design of an automatic system having low sensitivity to wide range variations of the controlled plant parameters. The design uses the properties of sliding modes (see Editors note peper 4.2) which can appear in any dynamic system, described by a set of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand parts.
