Reducing Disturbances Caused by Reductions in Regenerative Brake Torque

SAE Technical Paper Series, 2011
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper presents a method to reduce the number of occurrences of vehicle deceleration disturbances due to the reduction of regenerative braking in the presence of wheel slip. Usually, regenerative braking is disabled when wheel slip is detected in order to allow the ABS system

Manufacturing Errors Effects on Disturbing Torque of Aerostatic Bearings

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2009
In order to improve the drifting accuracy of aerostatic bearings, the manufacturing errors effects on disturbing torque of aerostatic bearings is studied by using the finite element method. The finite element mathematic model of the major influence factors of disturbing torque is established.

Rejection of nonlinear disturbance torque in servomechanism with repetitive control

IEEE 2002 28th Annual Conference of the Industrial Electronics Society. IECON 02, 2003
In this paper, a repetitive control method is presented for the rejection of significant nonlinear disturbance torque in servomechanisms. The disturbance torque dealt with is assumed to be periodic in position, which is the main cause for the degradation of the system steady-state precision. A sufficient condition for stability is given.

Tracking control of time-varying knee exoskeleton disturbed by interaction torque

ISA Transactions, 2017
Knee exoskeletons have been increasingly applied as assistive devices to help lower-extremity impaired people to make their knee joints move through providing external movement compensation. Tracking control of knee exoskeletons guided by human intentions often encounters time-varying (time-dependent) issues and the disturbance interaction torque ...

Sensorless vector control of synchronous reluctance motors with disturbance torque observer

APEC 2000. Fifteenth Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (Cat. No.00CH37058), 2001
The elimination of the position sensor has been one important requirement in vector control systems because the position sensor spoils the reliability and simplicity of drive systems. Therefore, we present a sensorless vector control technique for synchronous reluctance motors. The rotor position is calculated easily from ds-qs-axes flux linkages which

Estimation of spacecraft attitude in the presence of unmodeled disturbance torques

2019
A general approach is presented for the estimation of spacecraft attitude from rate gyroscope measurements of angular velocity and indirect inertial orientation measurements obtained from a pair of star sensors. The estimation algorithm is developed in such a way that the measured minus estimated angular velocity residuals are consistent with the ...
