An Inimer Approach Based on Photo Iniferter RAFT Polymerization Toward One‐Pot Bottlebrush Copolymers Featuring Grafts From Less Activated Monomers

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
We present a stepwise one‐pot synthesis of bottlebrush copolymers using the inimer approach for less activated monomers (LAMs). Under the irradiation of wavelength 1 (λ1), an acrylamide‐based inimer was polymerized to create a backbone with active sites for grafting.

Complexes of cobalt (II, III) with derivatives of dithiocarbamic acid – effectors of peptidases of Bacillus thuringiensis and α-L-Rhamnozidase of Eupenicillium erubescens and Cryptococcus albidus [PDF]

open access: yesThe Ukrainian Biochemical Journal, 2014
The influence of cobalt (II, III) coordinative compounds with derivatives of dithiocarbamic acid on Bacillus thuringiensis IMV B-7324 peptidases with elastase and fibrinolytic activity and Eupenicillium erubescens and Cryptococcus albidus α-L ...

Fungal disease management in cotton using plant protection products: An Australian perspective

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
Cotton disease management requires evidence‐driven use of plant protection products. Progress hinges on integrating chemistry, diagnostics, stewardship and sustainability to build resilient production systems. Abstract Cotton production faces persistent challenges from pathogens that compromise plant establishment, yield, and fibre quality.

Dithiocarbamate transfer reaction from methylene-bis(dithiocarbamates) to molybdenum dithiocarbamates in engine lubricants investigated using laboratory experiments

open access: yesNew Journal of Chemistry, 2022
The presence of zinc complexes or of oxidative conditions induces dithiocarbamate transfer from methylene-bis(dithiocarbamates) to molybdenum dithiocarbamates via zinc dithiocarbamate species.

Reduction‐Controlled Tunable Synthesis of Covellite (CuS) Nanoparticles from Water‐Soluble Single‐Source Precursors

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Amino acid‐derived Cu(II)‐dithiocarbamates were synthesized as water‐soluble single‐source precursors for low‐temperature hydrothermal decomposition toward covellite (CuS) nanoparticles. Their decomposition followed a reduction‐mediated pathway via Cu(I)‐dithiocarbamate intermediates, with the reduction step being rate‐limiting and readily tunable ...

Synthesis and in vitro Evaluation of New Benzothiazole Derivatives as Schistosomicidal Agents

open access: yesMolecules, 2007
A series of benzothiazol-2-yl-dithiocarbamates 3a-d along with their copper complexes 4a-c were synthesized via the reaction of suitable alkyl, aralkyl or heteroaryl halides with the sodium salt of benzothiazol-2-yl-dithiocarbamic acid, followed by ...

Design, synthesis and evaluation of quinolinone derivatives containing dithiocarbamate moiety as multifunctional AChE inhibitors for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry, 2020
A series of novel quinolinone derivatives bearing dithiocarbamate moiety were designed and synthesised as multifunctional AChE inhibitors for the treatment of AD. Most of these compounds exhibited strong and clearly selective inhibition to eeAChE.

Agricultural Fungicide Mancozeb in Leaf Litter Enhances Survival and Growth of Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae)

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mancozeb is one of the most widely used agricultural fungicides, exhibiting strong efficacy against a broad spectrum of phytopathogenic fungi. However, its widespread application comes at the cost of environmental contamination. Here, we show the effects of Inga vera leaf litter contamination with Mancozeb on life‐history traits of Aedes ...

Evaluating Thiram‐Induced Embryotoxicity Using Integrated In Silico, In Vitro, and Transcriptomic Approaches

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Long‐term exposure to low‐dose food contact materials (FCMs) has raised concerns regarding developmental toxicity. In the present study, we prioritized FCMs with potential developmental toxicity using a weight‐of‐evidence computational model, which predicted 127 chemicals to be of high concern.

Metal-Free Oxidative Dimerization of Dithiocarbamates: Direct Access to 3,5-Bis-mercapto-1,2,4-thiadiazoles

open access: yesSynOpen, 2017
A facile and efficient protocol for the synthesis of 3,5-bis-mercapto-1,2,4-thiadiazoles by the oxidative dimerization of S-alkyl dithiocarbamates using periodic acid as an inexpensive and commercially available oxidant is reported.
