This study investigated factors associated with left ventricular recovery after LVAD implantation in paediatric dilated cardiomyopathy. Patients were classified into recovery and non‐recovery groups. In a prospective, randomized study of high‐risk HF patients, simultaneous vaccination against influenza and RSV reduced the risk of the primary composite endpoint (hospitalization for HF, all‐cause death, or infection). The main driver of benefit was a lower incidence of infections.
