Adaptation of right ventricular function following tricuspid transcatheter edge‐to‐edge repair

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Right ventricular remodelling following tricuspid transcatheter edge‐to‐edge repair. After T‐TEER, most patients either maintain or decrease their RVEF, while only a minority experience an increase. Patients with increased RVEF were associated with TR worsening and worse prognosis.

The utility of urine biomarkers in diuretic resistance prediction in heart failure hospitalization

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
High urine pi‐GST concentration might be a marker for the development of loop diuretic resistance in patients with congestive heart failure hospitalization. Abstract Aims Loop diuretic resistance (LDR) in patients with heart failure hospitalization (HHF) is associated with worse clinical outcomes.

Cardioimmunologic response patterns after an acute heart failure event: Design and first results of AHF‐ImmunoCS

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract Aims We have previously shown that patients who develop heart‐reactive antibodies (HRAs) de novo after a heart failure (HF) hospitalization are at increased risk of adverse outcomes, lending weight to the hypothesis that B cells may play a pivotal role in HF progression.
