A different view of "Redif": Pre-rhyme in Ottoman divan poetry
2008"Rhyme" and "redif" often appear as end rhymes in poetry. "Pre-rhyme" is the name given to the repetition of sounds at the beginning of each line. The repetition of words at the beginning of each line is usually regarded as "tekrir" (repetition), not as "redif".
