Modification Of The Electron Energy Distribution Function During Lithium Experiments On The National Spherical Torus Experiment [PDF]
The National Spherical Torus Experiment (NSTX) has recently studied the use of a liquid lithium divertor (LLD). Divertor Langmuir probes have also been installed for making measurements of the local plasma conditions.

Global transport of light elements boron and carbon in the full-W ASDEX Upgrade
Transport of carbon and boron has been investigated in the full-W ASDEX Upgrade after experimental campaigns with (2008) and without (2007) boronizations. For this purpose, poloidal deposition profiles of the two elements on tungsten and graphite regions

Global migration of 13C in high-density L-mode plasmas at ASDEX Upgrade
We have studied the migration of 13C in ASDEX Upgrade after a global impurity injection experiment in 2011. The main chamber was observed to be the largest deposition region for carbon: almost 35% of the injected atoms end up there.

Overview of ASDEX Upgrade results [PDF]
Recent results from the ASDEX Upgrade experimental campaigns 2001 and 2002 are presented. An improved understanding of energy and particle transport emerges in terms of a 'critical gradient' model for the temperature gradients.

Scrape-Off Layer Transport and Deposition Studies in DIII-D [PDF]
Trace {sup 13}CH{sub 4} injection experiments into the main scrape-off layer of low density L-mode and high-density H-mode plasmas have been performed in the DIII-D tokamak [Luxon{_}NF02] to mimic the transport and deposition of carbon arising from a ...
