Empowering Solar Cells With Non‐Toxic Cu2O and Zn(O,S): A Sustainable Approach for CIGS Solar Cells

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
This study presents a sustainable CIGS solar cell integrating non‐toxic Cu2O${\rm Cu}{_2}{\rm O}$ and Zn(O,S) layers. The Cu2O${\rm Cu}{_2}{\rm O}$ back contact enhances hole extraction and reduces recombination losses, while the Zn(O,S) buffer layer minimizes optical absorption, achieving 25.35% efficiency.

Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy of Cystathionine and 2‐Hydroxyglutarate in Brain Tumors

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 1, January 2026.
Cystathionine and 2‐hydroxyglutarate were evaluated in 38 glioma patients with TE 97ms PRESS at 3T. Cystathionine level was significantly higher in IDH‐mutant 1p/19q‐codeleted gliomas than in IDH‐mutant non‐codeleted gliomas (p = 0.002). The sensitivity and specificity of the cystathionine measures with respect to 1p/19q status were 0.8 and 0.79, while

Informing the Borrowing Process for Dose‐Finding Trials by Estimating the Similarity Between Population‐Specific Dose‐Toxicity Curves

open access: yesPharmaceutical Statistics, Volume 25, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
ABSTRACT The conduct of dose‐finding trials can be specifically challenging in small populations, for example, in pediatric settings. Recently, research has shown that Bayesian borrowing from adult trials combined with appropriately robust prior distributions enables the conduct of pediatric dose‐finding trials with very small sample sizes.

Effects of long‐term flood irrigation and fertilization on greenhouse gas emissions and soil nitrogen in mountain hay meadows

open access: yesSoil Science Society of America Journal, Volume 90, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
Abstract Mountain hay meadows are a high‐elevation forage‐producing agroecosystem dependent on flood irrigation and nitrogen (N) fertilization to maintain yields, meaning management has great potential to influence greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To assess GHG fluxes and inorganic N dynamics in meadows, field monitoring was established at four ranches ...

A Biomarker‐Based Dose–Schedule Optimization Design for Immunotherapy Trials

open access: yesStatistics in Medicine, Volume 45, Issue 1-2, January 2026.
ABSTRACT In immunotherapy, both the dose and the schedule of drug administration can significantly influence therapeutic effects by modulating immune system activation. Incorporating immune response measures into clinical trial designs offers an opportunity to enhance decision‐making by leveraging their close association with therapeutic efficacy and ...

Is the Electronic Trade Documents Act 2023 Sufficient to Promote the Uptake of Paperless Trading Systems?

open access: yesThe Modern Law Review, Volume 89, Issue 1, Page 125-157, January 2026.
In September 2023, the Electronic Trade Documents Act (ETDA) came into force in the UK. It aims to facilitate paperless trade by allowing certain trade documents in electronic form to have the same legal functionality as their paper counterparts. The question this article poses is whether the ETDA, and similar legislative initiatives in other countries,
