Unveiling the Coupled Electric Field–Diffusion Mechanism in Redox‐Active Electrochromic Microsupercapacitors

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 4, April 2026.
Electrochromic microsupercapacitors visualize charge storage through redox‐driven color change. By systematically tuning electrode gap and redox‐species concentration, this study reveals that electric field distribution, more than concentration gradient alone, governs diffusive flux and energy storage behavior.
