Inheritance of chloroplast DNA inPopulus
Restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs) were used as markers to determine the transmission of chloroplast DNA (cpDNA) in poplar crosses. The plant material studied included individual trees ofPopulus trichocarpa, P. maximowiczii xtrichocarpa, P. maximowiczii xnigra, and offspring from controlled crosses between these trees.

A new combination and typification of Pouzolzia peteri Friis (Urticaceae)
Pouzolzia peteri, a lesser‐known species from the African continent, is currently classified as a member of the genus Pouzolzia. However, based on the morphological characteristics of its male flowers and leaf venation, its transfer to the genus Gonostegia is proposed.

Terniopsis chanthaburiensis (Podostemaceae), a new record for China and its complete plastid genome
The genus Terniopsis consists of plants that have not been thoroughly studied, with many species remaining taxonomically unresolved. In this study, Terniopsis chanthaburiensis is reported as a new record of China based on morphological traits. Then, we assembled and annotated its chloroplast genome based on genome skimming data.
