Fluorescence-Based Protein Footprinting Using Histidine-Tagged Protein
We describe a procedure for protein footprinting to identify the region(s) of a protein that interacts with a ligand. The method utilized the affinity of a stretch of histidine residues cloned into the protein to metalchelated resin.

eEF1G supports translation elongation of meiotic mRNAs in transcriptionally quiescent leptotene and zygotene spermatocytes. Its depletion in germ cells causes meiotic arrest at the zygotene stage, with defective homologous synapsis and unstable recombination intermediates.

Acetylation of Lysine 243 Inhibits the oriC Binding Ability of DnaA in Escherichia coli
DNA replication initiation is a central event in the cell cycle, and it is strictly controlled by multiple regulatory mechanisms. Our previous work showed that acetylation of residue lysine (K) 178 prevents DnaA from binding to ATP, which leads to the ...

Majority‐Voting Overlapping Method for Error Correction in DNA Data Storage
We propose an overlapping‐based majority‐voting method for DNA data storage error correction. By aligning multiple reads and choosing the most frequent base per position, it suppresses substitution errors without prior models. Validated on synthetic and real sequencing data, it achieves high‐fidelity, scalable, and cost‐effective reconstruction ...
