Dynamic Shifts in ER–Plasma Membrane Junctions Signaling Define Pro‐Metastatic N‐Glycosylation and Predict Prostate Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prostate cancer remains a leading cause of male cancer death, yet screening cannot reliably identify aggressive disease, underscoring the need for tissue biomarkers. It is shown that primary tumors increase ER–plasma membrane junction signaling via STIM1/ORP5, whereas metastasis features their loss, Golgi dispersal, and rapid conversion of high‐mannose

Enhanced Energy Transfer from a Metal–Organic Framework to a Highly Confined Organic Phosphorescent Dye

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A phosphorescent dye was designed to fit in a hand‐to‐glove fashion into the 1D‐pore channels of MIL‐68(In). We synthesized MIL‐68(In) as powder and thin films, loaded the dye into the pores with controlled packing, and found that the phosphorescence and quantum yield are enhanced.

Effect of Blending Degree between Virgin and Aged Binder on Pavement Performance of Recycled Asphalt Mixture with High RAP Content

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2019
In this study, the influence of the blending degree between virgin and aged binder on the pavement performance of hot-mix recycled asphalt mixture (HMRAM) with high RAP content is analyzed. The aggregate gradation of AC-16 was selected.

Exceptional Antimodes in Multi‐Drive Cavity Magnonics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Driven‐dissipative cavity‐magnonics provides a flexible platform for engineering non‐Hermitian physics such as exceptional points. Here, using a four‐port, three‐mode system with controllable microwave interference, antimodes and coherent perfect extinction (CPE) are realized, enabling active tuning to antimode exceptional points.

Stabilizing Magnesium Anodes in Rechargeable Magnesium Batteries via Fluorinated Cyclic Ether Electrolyte Additive

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A fluorinated cyclic ether, FDOL, is shown to stabilize Mg metal anodes by tuning Mg2+ solvation of the G2 electrolyte. The G2‐FDOL electrolyte suppresses passivation and thick, diffusion‐blocking Mg deposits, enabling more uniform Mg plating/stripping and sustained interfacial reactions.

Real‐World Effectiveness and Safety of Ravulizumab in Patients With Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria: Evidence From the International PNH Registry

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Ravulizumab, a second‐generation complement component 5 inhibitor (C5i) derived from eculizumab, with improved pharmacokinetics, is the current standard‐of‐care treatment for patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), where available.

Probabilistic analysis of stress intensity factor (SIF) and degree of bending (DoB) in axially loaded tubular K-joints of offshore structures

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Solids and Structures
The stress intensity factor (SIF) and the degree of bending (DoB) are among the crucial parameters in evaluating the fatigue reliability of offshore tubular joints based on the fracture mechanics (FM) approach. The value of SIF is a function of the crack

Single Cell RNA Transcriptomics of Mantle Cell Lymphoma Reveals the Presence of Treatment‐Resistant Subclones at the Time of Diagnosis

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a B‐cell malignancy with a chronically relapsing clinical course and pronounced genetic heterogeneity. To investigate the clonal dynamics underlying early disease relapse, we performed single‐cell RNA sequencing of paired tumor samples collected at diagnosis and at first relapse. Inference of copy number variants (
