IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Toward Affordable and Practical Home Context Recognition: –Framework and Implementation with Image-based Cognitive API–

open access: yesInternational Journal of Networked and Distributed Computing (IJNDC), 2019
To provide affordable context recognition for general households, this paper presents a novel technique that integrate image-based cognitive Application Program Interface (API) and light-weight machine learning. Our key idea is to regard every image as a

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Registration of the design documentation in conditions of the automated designing and automated preparation of manufacture

open access: yesТехнологія та конструювання в електронній апаратурі, 2007
An approach to preparing printed circuit board drawings is proposed, which significantly simplifies documentation and streamlines document workflow. This method is intended for use in environments of automated design and production preparation.

SegClarity: An Attribution-Based XAI Workflow for Evaluating Historical Document Layout Models

open access: yesJournal of Imaging
In recent years, deep learning networks have demonstrated remarkable progress in the semantic segmentation of historical documents. Nonetheless, their limited explainability remains a critical concern, as these models frequently operate as black boxes ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Application of Machine Learning Algorithms for Optimizing Document Workflow Management in Railway Freight Transportation

open access: yesProceedings of the International Conference on Applied Innovations in IT
Railway freight transportation is a crucial component of global logistics, requiring efficient and secure document workflow management. Traditional document processing methods are often time-consuming, error-prone, and inefficient.

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Merging Hierarchically-Structured Documents in Workflow Systems

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2008
AbstractWe consider the manipulation of hierarchically-structured documents within a complex workflow system. Such a system may consist of several subsystems distributed over a computer network. These subsystems can concurrently update partial views of the document.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
