The Method of Averaging and Domains of Stability for Integral Manifolds
SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 1975Liapunov’s direct method is a standard and effective approach to computing the domain of stability (or region of attraction) of an autonomous ordinary differential equation. In this paper the author investigates domains of stability of integral manifolds of solutions generated by nonlinear mechanical and electrical oscillatory systems with many degrees

On a method of Atkinson for evaluating domain integrals in the boundary element method
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 1994This paper applies a technique of \textit{K. E. Atkinson} [IMA J. Numer. Anal. 5, 319-338 (1985; Zbl 0576.65114)] to boundary integral methods for the Poisson equation. One limitation of boundary integral methods is that for inhomogeneous problems the source term produces an integral over the entire domain.

Preconditioned conjugate gradient methods for boundary-domain integral method
Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements, 1993Abstract The paper deals with the iterative solution of systems of linear equations arising in viscous flow computation by the boundary-domain integral method (BDIM) with the subdomain technique. Three versions of conjugate gradient method — the bi-conjugate gradient method (bi-CG), conjugate gradients squared (CGS) and its variant bi-CGSTAB - are ...

Semantic data integration methods for chemical domain
2018 13th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2018There is a huge amount of chemical data in the Web. Collecting those data and realizing the integration of their structured and semantic[1] data are one of the important issues in chemical domain. Traditional search engines in chemical domain provide some basic functionalities such as ranking with the support of some simple queries, Search results ...

Extension of Integrated Force Method into Stochastic Domain
International Journal for Computational Methods in Engineering Science and Mechanics, 2009The Integrated Force Method (IFM) commonly used for deterministic analysis of structures has been extended into the stochastic domain. The perturbation method is used for stochastic analysis of IFM. The expressions developed for responses in IFM were programmed in both the symbolic Maple V and FORTRAN 90 codes.

Stochastic Boundary-Domain Integral Method for heat transfer simulations
2019 4th International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies (SpliTech), 2019In this paper we couple a numerical method aimed at simulation of flow and heat transfer of nanofluids with stochastic modelling of input and material parameters. A fast Boundary- Domain Integral Method has been developed to solve the governing equations and set up the deterministic flow and heat transfer solver. Furthermore, the Stochastic Collocation
