Domain wall and three dimensional duality

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We discuss 1/2 BPS domain walls in the 3d N=4 $$ \mathcal{N}=4 $$ supersymmetric gauge theory which is self-dual under the 3d mirror symmetry. We find that if a BF-type coupling is introduced, invariance of the BPS domain wall under the duality ...

The domain wall soliton’s tension

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We calculate the one-loop tension of the domain wall soliton in the $$\phi ^4$$ ϕ 4 double-well model. Our result agrees with previous results from Dashen, Hasslacher and Neveu (1974) in 1 + 1d and Jaimunga, Semenoff and Zarembo (1999) in 2 + 1d.

Domain wall as cosmological oscillator

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this study, we examine the domain wall within the framework of a cosmological harmonic oscillator. We investigate the interaction between the domain wall and a periodic background field, which can induce perturbations in the oscillatory behavior of ...

Electric-field-driven magnetic domain wall as a microscale magneto-optical shutter

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Nowadays, spintronics considers magnetic domain walls as a kind of nanodeviсe that demands for switching much less energy in comparison to homogeneous process.

Tunable domain wall pinning behavior by notch geometry in CoFeB nanostrip under nano-pulse current injection

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science
To optimally control the domain wall (DW) pinning behavior in the ferromagnetic nanostrip, some focus is on utilizing a geometrical notch as an artificial pinning potential.

Fermionic domain-wall Skyrmions of QCD in a magnetic field

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The ground state of low-energy QCD matter in strong magnetic fields is either a chiral soliton lattice (CSL), a periodic array of neutral pion domain walls (chiral solitons) perpendicular to the magnetic field, or domain-wall Skyrmion phase, in which ...

A (2+1)-dimensional domain wall at one-loop

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We consider the domain wall in the (2+1)-dimensional ϕ 4 double well model, created by extending the ϕ 4 kink in an additional infinite direction. Classically, the tension is m 3/3λ where λ is the coupling and m is the meson mass.

High-speed antiferromagnetic domain walls driven by coherent spin waves

open access: yesNature Communications
The ability to rapidly manipulate domain walls in magnetic materials is key to developing novel high-speed spintronic memory and computing devices. Antiferromagnetic materials present a particularly promising platform due to their robustness against ...
