Domain walls of ferroelectric BaTiO3 within the Ginzburg-Landau-Devonshire phenomenological model
Mechanically compatible and electrically neutral domain walls in tetragonal, orthorhombic and rhombohedral ferroelectric phases of BaTiO3 are systematically investigated in the framework of the phenomenological Ginzburg-Landau-Devonshire (GLD) model with

Non-Supersymmetric Charged Domain Walls [PDF]
We present general non-supersymmtric domain wall solutions with non-trivial scalar and gauge fields for gauged five-dimensional N=2 supergravity coupled to abelian vector multiplets.Comment: 11 pages, one ref. added. To appear in Physics Letters

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Domain Walls and Vortices in Chiral Symmetry Breaking
We study domain walls and vortices in chiral symmetry breaking in a QCD-like theory with N flavors in the chiral limit. If the axial anomaly is absent, there exist stable Abelian axial vortices winding around the spontaneously broken U(1)_A symmetry and ...

Domain walls inside localised orientifolds [PDF]
The equations of motion of toroidal orientifold compactifications with fluxes are in one-to-one correspondence with gauged supergravity if the orientifold (and D-brane) sources are smeared over the compact space.

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

Domain walls in Nelson-Barr axion model
We explore a concrete realization of a Nelson-Barr model addressing the strong CP problem with suppressed unfavorable corrections. This model has a scalar field that spontaneously breaks discrete symmetry, and its phase component can naturally be ...
