Composing topological domain walls and anyon mobility
Topological domain walls separating 2+1 dimensional topologically ordered phases can be understood in terms of Witt equivalences between the UMTCs describing anyons in the bulk topological orders.

Domain walls in Born-Infeld-dilaton background
We study the dynamics of domain walls in Einstein-Born-Infeld-dilaton theory. Dilaton is non-trivially coupled with the Born-Infeld electromagnetic field. We find three different types of solutions consistent with the dynamic domain walls. For every case,

Warped domain wall fermions [PDF]
We consider Kaplan's domain wall fermions in the presence of an Anti-de Sitter (AdS) background in the extra dimension. Just as in the flat space case, in a completely vector-like gauge theory defined after discretizing this extra dimension, the spectrum contains a very light charged fermion whose chiral components are localized at the ends of the ...

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Out-of-plane chiral domain wall spin-structures in ultrathin in-plane magnets
Chiral domain walls in magnetic films can be electrically controlled, which makes them attractive for applications, but domain walls in ultrathin films are normally non-chiral.

Domain Walls in Supersymmetric QCD [PDF]
In this talk we construct BPS-saturated domain walls in supersymmetric QCD, for any values of the masses of the chiral matter superfields. We compare our results to those already obtained in the literature and we also discuss their range of applicability,

Skyrmion domain wall collision and domain wall-gated skyrmion logic [PDF]
Skyrmions and domain walls are significant spin textures of great technological relevance to magnetic memory and logic applications, where they can be used as carriers of information. The unique topology of skyrmions makes them display emergent dynamical properties as compared with domain walls. Some studies have demonstrated that the two topologically

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Polar and phase domain walls with conducting interfacial states in a Weyl semimetal MoTe2
Domain walls of topological materials may be good candidates to study topological interfacial states. Here, Huang et al. discover polar domain walls which can be manipulated by electron beams and phase domain walls where possible signature of a ...

Dynamical domain wall fermions [PDF]
We report on an exploratory study of N_f=2 dynamical domain wall fermions and the DBW2 gauge action at weak coupling. Details of improved simulation algorithms and preliminary results for the hadron spectrum and renormalised light and strange quark masses will be presented.
