An investigation of the corrosion of domestic hot water tanks
, 1951 A method for the examination of corrosion in domestic hot water tanks is described. Results based on physical and metallographic examination of tanks taken from 15 localities in Ontario are given. Evidence is presented to show that the polarity of the zinc-iron couple reverses under certain service conditions.
