Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

The domination number and the least $Q$-eigenvalue [PDF]
A vertex set $D$ of a graph $G$ is said to be a dominating set if every vertex of $V(G)\setminus D$ is adjacent to at least a vertex in $D$, and the domination number $\gamma(G)$ ($\gamma$, for short) is the minimum cardinality of all dominating sets of $

The pyruvate generator, which causes activation of respiration by extra‐mitochondrial Ca2+, is also present and functional in rat brainstem mitochondria, as it is in other brain regions. This finding is confirmed by experiments with a fully reconstituted malate–aspartate shuttle (MAS).

Domination parameters with number 2: interrelations and algorithmic consequences
In this paper, we study the most basic domination invariants in graphs, in which number 2 is intrinsic part of their definitions. We classify them upon three criteria, two of which give the following previously studied invariants: the weak $2$-domination

Laplacian Distribution and Domination [PDF]
Let $m_G(I)$ denote the number of Laplacian eigenvalues of a graph $G$ in an interval $I$, and let $\gamma(G)$ denote its domination number. We extend the recent result $m_G[0,1) \leq \gamma(G)$, and show that isolate-free graphs also satisfy $\gamma(G) \

The aim of this article is to introduce a new definition of domination number in graphs called hn-domination number denoted by . This paper presents some properties which show the concepts of connected and independent hn-domination.
