Erratum to “An Extension of Dominance Analysis to Canonical Correlation Analysis” [PDF]
Multivariate Behavioral Research, 44(5), 688–709 On page 698, in table 4, On the line of R 2 (5), the formula in the fourth column should be 1 – {Π q i=1(1 – ρ2 i )}1/q .

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

In today’s digital culture, we face a new behavior that started on Twitter, a social media platform with a large user base. This study explores how users participate in the financial slave-themed Twitter discussions and the master-slave relationship ...

Stochastic Dominance Analysis Without the Independence Axiom [PDF]
We characterize the consistency of a large class of nonexpected utility preferences (including mean-variance preferences and prospect theory preferences) with stochastic orders (for example, stochastic dominances of different degrees). Our characterization rests on a novel decision theoretic result that provides a behavioral interpretation of the set ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Analysis of Lur’e dominant systems in the frequency domain [PDF]
Frequency domain analysis of linear time-invariant (LTI) systems in feedback with static nonlinearities is a classical and fruitful topic of nonlinear systems theory. We generalize this approach beyond equilibrium stability analysis with the aim of characterizing feedback systems whose asymptotic behavior is low dimensional.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

(Pre)-Inflationary Dynamics with Starobinsky Potential in Noncommutative Effective LQC
In this work, we investigate the (pre)-inflationary dynamics of a flat, homogeneous, and isotropic universe governed by the Starobinsky potential within the framework of noncommutative effective loop quantum cosmology.
