Classification of dopamine-antagonists from pharmacological data

Abstract A graphical method is described that allows to classify the dopamine- antagonists on the basis of three pharmacological observations. The so-called spectral map represents the relative affinities of these drugs for three receptor sites.

Because dopamine plays many roles in the body, especially in the brain, a degree of alteration in mental status should be expected, especially with higher doses.
