Age‐Dependent Correlation of Pulmonary Function Impairment and Aortic Arch Stiffness in Mice
This study examined the relationship between aortic arch stiffness and lung function in aging mice. Multiple linear regression modeling showed moderate to strong correlations between the rise in aortic arch stiffness and changes in lung function as the mice progressively aged.

Comprehensive Analysis of Relative Pressure Estimation Methods Utilizing 4D Flow MRI [PDF]
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can estimate three-dimensional (3D) time-resolved relative pressure fields using 4D-flow MRI, thereby providing rich pressure field information. Clinical alternatives include catheterization and Doppler echocardiography, which only provide one-dimensional pressure drops.

The clinical manifestation of DOLV was atypical. TTE has a relatively high diagnostic accuracy for DOLV in pediatric, which is very valuable for its early detection. ABSTRACT Double outlet left ventricle (DOLV) is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly in which both great arteries originate entirely or predominantly from the morphologic left ventricle.

Refining Myocardial Infarction Detection: A Novel Multi-Modal Composite Kernel Strategy in One-Class Classification [PDF]
Early detection of myocardial infarction (MI), a critical condition arising from coronary artery disease (CAD), is vital to prevent further myocardial damage. This study introduces a novel method for early MI detection using a one-class classification (OCC) algorithm in echocardiography.
