Positive power Doppler signal in plantar fasciitis
Rheumatology International, 2011The plantar fascia is a multilayered band of fibrous tissue that support and maintain the longitudinal arch of the foot. We report a 34-old obese woman with heel pain for the past 3 years. On physical examination, she presented painful plantar fascia throughout extension of the foot.

Optimal probe position for precordial Doppler ultrasound in children
Pediatrics International, 2022AbstractBackgroundPrecordial Doppler ultrasound technology can be used to confirm correct peripheral intravenous access in children. Changes in precordial Doppler sound from the baseline after injecting normal saline are detected using a correct peripheral intravenous access.

Dilution of position in the Doppler-range satellite positioning algorithm
WCC 2000 - ICCT 2000. 2000 International Conference on Communication Technology Proceedings (Cat. No.00EX420), 2002Depending on different types of users, several algorithms, one of which combines Doppler and range measurements for positioning computation and which is called the D-R algorithm, can be used in software design in a satellite positioning system. The D-R algorithm can be selected for a stationary user in certain circumstance where only few satellites can

Review of Doppler satellite positioning in Canada
Bulletin Géodésique, 1976Canada has recently faced two geodetic problems. Existing control on land must be rapidly upraged for resource development and for the coming redefinition of North American networks. Geodetic methods of managing territorial and lease boundaries in the offshore region are required.

Tracking with converted position and Doppler measurements
SPIE Proceedings, 2011In many target tracking applications, estimation of target position and velocity is performed in Cartesian coordinates. Use of Cartesian coordinates for estimation stands in contrast to the measurements, which are traditionally the range, azimuth and elevation measurements of the spherical coordinate system.

Estimation of position from multistatic Doppler measurements
2010 13th International Conference on Information Fusion, 2010We implement and evaluate a method infer position from Doppler measurements in a multistatic sonar scenario and present a likelihood approach for doing so. Doppler measurements are used to create likelihood surfaces for each of the transmitter-receiver pairs.

DOPPLER POSITIONING IN THE INDIAN OCEAN
Survey Review, 1983Abstract Many papers have been written on the theory of Doppler Satellite positioning techniques and equipment. In contrast the following article details the practical use of such instruments with reference to work carried out in the Indian Ocean.

Tracking Bedridden Patient Positions Using Micro-Doppler Signatures
IEEE Sensors Letters, 2021Hospital patients who are bedridden for prolonged periods of time require routine repositioning to aid in the prevention of pressure ulcers. This necessitates repositioning the patient at various laterally inclined angles. Readjustments of a patient's position must be performed over prescribed time intervals.
