Metasurface Doppler Cloak for Broadband Radar Stealth
Concealing an aircraft is a multi‐faceted endeavor, notably involving radio and infrared frequencies. In a radar stealth context, it often translates to the reduction of the radar cross‐section (RCS).

Defining the end point of status epilepticus: A scoping review and framework for standardization
Abstract Status epilepticus (SE) is a life‐threatening neurological emergency with consensus‐driven definitions for onset but no standardized criteria for its end point. This gap creates uncertainty in research and clinical practice. We conducted a scoping review to evaluate how end points have been defined in SE research and to identify key areas of ...

Seasonal Variability of Precipitating Systems in Four Radar Domains of Northeast Brazil
This study analyzes the climatology and evaluates how the physical aspects of precipitating systems are influenced by the dry and wet seasons in Northeast Brazil, highlighting seasonal variations in the frequency, size, intensity, and duration of these systems in the regions of Natal, Maceió, Petrolina, and Salvador.

European and global Mode‐S aircraft reports have been assimilated into the Met Office global deterministic numerical weather prediction model, improving forecast accuracy for wind, temperature, and geopotential height. This is the first time global Mode‐S network data have been assimilated, which include data from under‐observed regions, and has ...

Short‐term extreme rainfall can be produced by the variation of low‐level warm moist airflow during mesoscale convective systems (MCSs) approaching another. The cold outflow of the rapidly moving MCS intensifies the warm moist airflow in front, enhancing the convergence and ascending motion in the quasi‐stationary MCS.

Chung-Li, Taiwan dual mode (Doppler and spaced antenna) VHF radar: Preliminary specifications [PDF]
A major unresolved question in the field of atmospheric research using VHF radar techniques is the relative merit of the two most widely used systems. These systems are the Doppler method and the spaced antenna method.

State‐of‐the‐art, convection‐permitting NWP models reproduced the main features of the October 22–23, 2019 heavy precipitation event in Catalonia. However, slight configuration changes yielded varying streamflow responses and statistical performance, highlighting the challenge of simulating these events in Mediterranean medium‐sized basins ...

Progress in existing and planned MST radars [PDF]
Radar systems are described which use two different wind measuring techniques: the partial-reflection drift technique and the mesosphere-stratosphere-troposphere (MST) or Doppler beam-swing radar technique.
